When I explore a new city,
I always enjoy the moment I get stopped by a red light.
Especially the sound of the traffic lights,
it wakes me up like an alarm clock making me suddenly realise:

What does the street sounds like,
what do the people look like,
how does the the air smell.
Where I am,
how I am.

I love these stops helping me “being there”,
when I get blinded by my destination.
