Eliminated from is an installation with sound.
The piece contains 25 mechanical alarm clocks
attached to the back of a 1.3m x 1.3m square
weathered steel metal plate.
The clocks will neither be seen nor heard when
someone just passes by. But once the audience
approaches and access the back side of
the piece. They will see and hear what is behind
the cover.
I see the clocks standing against the wall,
I see time running through their bodies.
They are ticking, they are speaking.
Aren’t we the same?
Just a diffetent type of machine that time runs
through?
Can our existence ever be covered?
Can our voices ever be eliminated from?
